Cavernous NV350
There it was, dominating the sidewalk outside my house, as big as a mountain and covered in a fine mist of soft rain. I knew I was getting a new test car that day but had no idea what to expect. I felt a softening of my enthusiasm as I approached the wide body, high roof derivative of the new Nissan NV350. Standing next to it I felt dwarfed by its massive 2,285-meter high frame, and 5,2-meter long body. Then my enthusiasm recovered and I started thinking of all the possibilities this amazing panel van opened up to me. Suffice to say I clambered into the driving seat and started the 2.5 litre petrol engine, which purred, quietly under my seat. I could help my friends move this weekend; I could collect and deliver the forty thousand copies of The Bugle this Wednesday. With over nine cubic meters of space, I could have a private party in the back. This much space will certainly mean a lot to many businesses. Feisty is how I would describe the new NV350, even under a heavy load and the model I tested is capable of carrying 1,43 tons and a braked trailer of 1.4 tons. Everywhere I went interested people approached me, most of them wanting to know if there was a Taxi variant, which I answered was due in South Africa sometime later that year. It was a very popular vehicle wherever I travelled. All the Nissan NV350 Panel Van models come standard with a 3-year or 100000 km warranty, plus a 5-year or 90000 km service plan as well as a three-year anti-corrosion warranty. Service intervals for both petrol and diesel variants are 15000 km.
