Yep It’s A Yaris
It was so quiet, the night had quashed almost all the light the sun had to offer and the pavement was in total darkness. The new test car had been parked out there for some hours as my workload had prevented more than just a glimpse of the cool confidence that the Toyota Yaris Hybrid was displaying. I jumped in behind the steering wheel and switched the Yaris Hybrid on, not a sound. It was thrilling to be able to slip the Yaris into gear and start driving off the pavement without making even a whisper. I felt as though I was floating down the road, a short ride just to put the Yaris Hybrid in the garage for the night. The dashboard displayed its range of information with such subtle discretion it made the whole experience of just parking the Yaris nothing less than ethereal. I could not help but think about impact on the environment as I slowly extricated myself from the comfort of the Yaris interior. It dawned on me as I heard the locking mechanism of the central locking, that sound was also an impact on the environment. One, not a lot of people would consider, until they had test driven the Yaris hybrid, maybe. Out on the open road the Yaris was like an education. Feeding me with information and encouraging me with fuel consumption figures that seemed impossible. The Yaris responded very positively to pressure on the accelerator and with both the electric motor and the petrol motor providing power, there was more than enough there to make this car an exciting car to drive. For a motoring experience that goes beyond the banal and mundane, test drive the Toyota Yaris Hybrid and experience something quite unique.
